We understand that choosing placement for yourself or a loved one can be a very difficult decision and we are committed to working with you as graciously as possible. At Country Rest Home we pride ourselves in our family atmosphere and caring staff. Without apology, we attempt to bring a Christian perspective to the care of our residents, as we believe God has given us a ministry as well as a business.
Country Rest Home is privately owned and operated by Mark and Polly Yoder, and is licensed by the State of Delaware as an Intermediate Care Facility, which means we are a total-care nursing home. The needs of our guests range from those needing only minimal assistance to those needing total care. We have trained, professional staff on duty 24 hours a day to provide for the needs of the people we serve and it is our desire to bring the best quality of care possible. We are a private-pay facility that does not participate in the Medicare/Medicaid program and hopefully you will notice that our rates are much less than most nursing homes and we often extend the ability to self-pay by several years.
